Certificate II in Information, Digital Media and Technology – ICT20115

computerCertificate II in Information, Digital Media and Technology is a two year course, running over four semesters, for those who want to develop their knowledge and skills within the IT industry. The units making up this course, as listed below, meet the requirements for four (4) School Curriculum and Standards Authority units.

Year 11 students aiming to further their studies in this area and wish to start Certificate II in 2017 can choose Certificate I in Information, Digital Media and Technology on one Gridline and Certificate II in Information, Digital Media and Technology on a second gridline.

There are fourteen (14) units of competency within the ICT20115 course – seven (7) core units and seven (7) electives.

Successful completion of this course will lead to a nationally recognised, industry-based qualification, Certificate II in Information, Digital Media and Technology, and provides the skills to be able to enter Certificate III in Information, Digital Media and Technology, Certificate III in Telecommunications Digital Reception Technology and Certificate III in Telecommunications Technology

Certificate II in Information, Digital Media and Technology is issued through the Registered Training Organisation (RTO) YMCA.
