This qualification is recommended for people with some experience and beginners who wish to work in Media related industries such as; film maker, television presenter, journalist, production assistant, camera operator – film, TV, video, entertainer, audio-visual technician. By the end of this course (run over two years) you should be able to confidently work alone and in a group using video cameras and editing equipment and apply skills, techniques and design principals to create short films, music video clips and the lighting techniques to compliment them. You will also be given experience working in a creative environment and following health and safety procedures.
You will develop visual arts industry knowledge and will be required to work independently to gather evidence and maintain a portfolio of work samples and relevant information.
