Teresa is an experienced, highly competent teacher adept at a broad range of skills associated with her role as a teacher of Humanities and Social Sciences (Economics and Modern History) at Cyril Jackson Senior Campus. She delivers General and ATAR courses to year 11 and year 12 students both on campus and in iLearn (flexible learning) mode. In her capacity as iLearn Flexible Learning Coordinator, Teresa also provides support to all iLearn students and other iLearn teachers.
Teresa has an interest in and extensive experience in the integration of ICT in classroom practices. She has a firm belief that technologies can provide students with engaging learning experiences that support new ways of thinking, knowing, and problem solving. Teresa has developed a number of successful online courses using a variety of platforms.
Having taught at Cyril Jackson for over 20 years, Teresa is passionate about the campus. She is committed to supporting campus initiatives that provide equal opportunities and maximise the educational achievements of all students regardless of age, gender, ethnicity and/or disability.
As a member of the Board, she looks forward to working collaboratively with other members to ensure that Cyril Jackson continues to grow as a quality educational institution that meets the educational needs of students and adapts to the demands and challenges of the future.
